  • Rathcroghan is one of the four major Royal Sites of Ireland and is known as a place of burial and ritual gatherings. The legendary leader and Warrior Queen of Connacht, Medb, is said to have had her palace here at Rathcroghan around the turn of the first century.

  • King House is a restored Georgian Mansion in Boyle, County Roscommon. It is a unique visitor centre that not only tells the story of this important house as a home to the King family and later a barracks to the Connaught Rangers, but also displays important cultural collections and Irish history exhibitions.

  • The Arigna Mining Experience is a unique community inspired initiative which records 400 years of mining history in the area. Ex miners will take you on a journey through a way of life, which has been so authentically reborn, through this amazing project.
