Rás Tailteann 2025 – Stage 1 Finish in Boyle

Rás Tailteann, Ireland’s premier cycling event, will finish stage 1 in Boyle this May.
Cheer on the riders as they complete a tough day’s racing from Drogheda. Boyle will offer a warm welcome with plenty of local hospitality and a lively atmosphere. Whether you’re a cycling fan or just looking for something different to experience, it’s a great reason to visit and get involved.

The 2025 Famine Summer School brings together leading historians, humanitarian experts, and artists to discuss the theme “Humanitarianism and Hunger”.
Keynote speakers include Jean-Paul Bauer (World Food Programme), Professor Christine Kinealy (Ireland’s Great Hunger Institute), and Professor Mark McGowan (University of Toronto), among others.
The event also features a special plenary panel on reconciliation and recognition, offering a thought-provoking and moving programme for attendees.
