Explore the birthplace of Halloween at Rathcroghan Visitor Centre. Embark on the Origins of Samhain Tour and see first hand Roscommon’s very own gateway to hell (Oweynagat Cave).

Willowbrook Glamping & Hideaways
- Halloween Kids Camp Tues 1st Nov – Thurs 3rd Nov.
Over the 3 days your little ones will be creating, constructing, foraging, learning, growing, playing and imagining. They will be spending their days in either the Dojo hall or the art shed making cool creations other times will be spent foraging the land for materials and camp fire cooking.

- Halloween Ghoulish Quest, 21st, 22nd, 28th,29th, 30th, 31st October
At your chosen time, you will be given a map to follow, and you must make your way around the site with only your torch to guide the way, finding one clue after another, until eventually you manage to solve the quest. Beware the creeps and weirdos hiding in the dark corners of the site and guarding the clues. Can you survive the Willowbrook Halloween Ghoulish quest? Hot chocolate and sweets for those who do.

Step into the darkness with Enchanted Croí Theatre to be immersed in Bram Stoker’s Gothic Classic ‘Dracula’ once again. This time…revisited, unearthed and reborn.
We invite you to be enchanted in a web of words, a splattering of song and verse and sensuous night dances. For in the shadows, we will lose our ghostly fears and become lost in the beauty of the scene.

Enchanted Croí Theatre will be stepping through the mists of time into Ireland’s Ancient past to celebrate the traditions of Samhain.
Jack O’Lantern and An Calliah will lead the way through the Autumnal veils this Halloween. Our site-specific performance hosts ghosteens galore when we unearth our stories, spells of wonderment and the shrill sounds of the Banshee for all your family and friends to enjoy.
