February 16 at 10:30 am
World wetlands day is celebrated every February to raise global awareness of the value of wetlands for humanity and the planet. This year we celebrate the important role played by wetlands as natural solutions in adapting to and mitigating the effects of climate change.
The starting point & car park for the walk is Kilteevan Community Centre at 10:30am where buses will bring participants to the trail head at 10:45.
We will walk a small section of the loop to allow lots of time for looking at nature.
The event is free and all are welcome, kids must be supervised by an adult.
