This summer, fourteen children from both Longford and Roscommon were selected through an open call playmaking project to work with Maisie Lee, Artist in Residence at Backstage Theatre. As part of this, Roscommon Arts Centre hosted two weeks of workshops for the Roscommon based children, during which they worked with Maisie on developing their stories and scripts. Now the ten short plays, written by the children from both counties will be performed by professional actors in both Backstage Theatre and at Roscommon Arts Centre. Join us for ten very special performances as we see their stories come to life on a professional stage, performed by a professional cast.
